Prof. Satwanti Kapoor

Prof. Satwanti Kapoor is a distinguished Professor superannuated from Anthropology, University of Delhi. With her research and teaching in India and abroad she has excelled in Physiological Anthropology and Obesity and quality of life. Her research achievements are reflected in her publications in national and international journals and books. Her research work involves new born to senescence to study their body composition and health related issues, public health, nutrition, and ergonomics. She has done extensive fieldwork among tribal, mid high altitude populations, urban and rural caste groups in different states of India. She served as an advisor of SizeIndia Project, NIFT, Delhi. She is a member of various national and international bodies and has been visiting fellow to different universities in India.

Dr. Raveena Gupta

Raveena Gupta is a researcher specializing in consumer neuroscience and neuromarketing. Her research focuses on unconscious decision-making, exploring how non-verbal cues impact consumer engagement, preferences, and choices. Her pioneering work in neuromarketing and neuropolitics has been featured in international journals and prominent neuromarketing yearbooks. With nearly a decade of experience in the marketing and innovation sectors, she has worked across leading organizations, contributing to groundbreaking strategies. She holds an MBA from Symbiosis International University and a Bachelor’s in Engineering from Institute of Technology and Management. Additionally, she played a key role in setting up a neuromarketing lab in her organization, further advancing research and innovation in the field

Dr. Meenal Dhall

Dr. Meenal Dhall is assistant professor in the Department of Anthropology at the University of Delhi. She holds a PhD in Anthropology, postgraduate diploma in public health nutrition from PHFI, Delhi and also MA in Psychology from IGNOU. She is recipient of various research and academic awards in international and national conferences. She is the founder member of MSc Forensic Science in the Department of Anthropology, University of Delhi. She has been actively working on public health issues, especially obesity and cardiometabolic disease, reproductive health, aging, nutritional status, physical activity and its related health outcomes among different populations and forensic science.

Dr. YP Kapoor

Dr YP Kapur,an aluminous of Maulana Azad Medical College,Delhi,India is General Medical Practitioner in North Wales, UK. ,for the 28 years .Being a GP, he looked after more than 3000 patients . Some of the patients were cared for from cradle to grave, including services like immunisations, family planning, minor surgery etc. He regularly advises on staying healthy and believed in preventing illnesses along with regular mental and physical check ups . He also taught nursing students and at times medical students.
Dr Kapur has retired recently from active service.
However he is still as active as before in organising free Medical & Surgical Camps in Jammu and other parts of India along with his friend Dr Charak and team. These camps last for one week. It is for poor people of the state. The camp provides medicine as well free surgical operations, both major & minor. These camps are done 3-4 times a year.

Dr. Rishikesh Narayan is an Associate Professor in the School of Chemical & Materials Sciences and the School of Interdisciplinary Life Sciences at IIT Goa, where he also serves as Dean of Student Affairs. He specializes in synthetic organic chemistry, catalysis, and medicinal chemistry, leading the Narayan Lab focused on sustainable chemical synthesis and applications in healthcare. He holds a PhD from WWU Münster, Germany, an MSc in Chemistry from IIT Madras, and a BSc from Hindu College, University of Delhi. He has been recognized among the top 3% scientists globally in Chemical Sciences (AD Scientific Index). His work stands out for bridging fundamental science with real-world applications in medicine and sustainability.

Dr. Pankhuri Sharma

Dr. Pankhuri Sharma’s research lies at the intersection of anthropology and public health, with a strong focus on maternal and reproductive health, preterm birth risk, HIV screening, menopause, and community healthcare practices in rural India. She has led and contributed to interdisciplinary projects such as the PROMISES Study on salivary progesterone testing for preterm birth risk and multiple community-based interventions to improve maternal healthcare uptake. Her work combines qualitative ethnographic insights with quantitative health assessments, aiming to bridge research with actionable strategies for better health outcomes.

Dr. Imkongtengla Pongen

Dr. Imkongtengla Pongen is an anthropologist with expertise in biological and socio-cultural anthropology, contributing to both teaching and research in the field. She is associated with the Anthropological Survey of India and also serves as an Academic Counsellor at Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), Delhi. Her academic interests lie in exploring the intersections of human biology, health, and culture, with a focus on understanding how lifestyle, environment, and social structures shape human variation and wellbeing. She is actively engaged in mentoring students, curriculum development, and facilitating interdisciplinary dialogue in anthropology. Dr. Pongen’s work reflects a commitment to advancing anthropology as a discipline that connects laboratory research, field studies, and applied community engagement.
